Barbour Border Navy Blue Long Jacket Made in England XL

This Barbour Border is a navy blue, long-cut jacket with a Made in England label. Its straight silhouette, corduroy collar and contrasting tartan lining give it a distinctive countrywear character.

A brass-tone front zip sits beneath a snap-fastened storm flap, with a fastening tab at the neck. Two welt pockets sit above large lower flap pockets, one finished with tonal Barbour embroidery. Inside are two generous snap-fastened pockets, while a further zipped pocket sits behind the front placket. Underarm eyelets complete the construction.

According to the supplied reference, the Border was originally designed by Dame Margaret Barbour in the early 1980s. The same source dates this example to the early 2000s.

Condition: Good pre-owned condition, as stated by the seller. The photos show creasing, light surface wear and small pale marks, including a short linear mark on one lower front pocket and a mark on one sleeve. Some printing on the neck label is faded.
